this is the story of a lawyer named Strange. As he approched 70- that is, i'd like to think, early middle age- he thought it was a time to consider the sort of headstone which he wished to be placed over his grave. He chose the stone and said : "inscribe upon it simply these words," Here lies a lawyer and an honest man" " no name?" asked the stonemason. " no name" he said "anyone passing will read this " Here lies a lawyer and an honest man" and will say " That's Strange"
The sequal, however, is even more pointed, when the lawyer died and was duly buried beneath his stone, two friends of his passed by and read the incription and one said to the other : "i wonder why they buried two of them in one grave"
